Dr. Rosanna U. Masciadri
ROSANNA U.MASCIADRI, D.M.D. is a graduate of the State University of Uruguay in 1988 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine. She also received her second degree, Doctor Of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts at the renowned Tufts University Dental School in 1993.
She has been in the field of dentistry for 32 years. She started as an Associate Dentist in Athens and established her own practice in 1999. Dr.Masciadri completed a series of continuing education at the Pankey Institute, a famous institute for Dentists from around the world, located in Miami, FL. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association and Clark County Dental Society where she was the president in 2008. She was awarded at Tufts University to be a member of the International College of Dentistry.
Her practice focuses mainly on Preventive, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, utilizing the latest techniques and technology available today. She strives to provide her patients with the best dentistry available, taking pride in her work and the health care provided to them.
Dr. Masciadri is married to Dr. Milton Masciadri, a full-time Distinguished professor at the University of Georgia, School of Music. He is also an internationally known Double Bass Player. They have two handsome children, Daniel and Nicholas, who both are the joy of their lives. Busy as she can be as a full-time Dentist, her “three boys” keep her busy as well.
FRANCES VALIDO FINCHER
Office Treatment Coordinator
Frances is the ninth in a family of dentists. She was born in Manila, Philippines. Frances received her degree, Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1986 at De Ocampo Memorial College ( formerly Phil Dental College).
Prior to joining Dr. Masciadri’s team as a clinical administrator and treatment coordinator, she had practiced her profession in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia, she was a member of Philippine Dental Association, Manila Dental society and Lion’s Club International where she was one of the Dentists at the Lion’s Club Foundation.
Frances in her spare time, enjoys reading, cooking, singing, exercising. Frances and her husband Sonny Fincher enjoys foreign travel, classical music, and ballroom dancing
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Dental phobic? No worries, as Patty comes from a long line of dental phobes in her family and understands how vital treating you with compassion and empathy are in your comfort in the dental chair. Patty has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2004 graduated with a degree in Science and Dental Hygiene studies in her home state of New Jersey and completed her state boards at NYU. She entered the dental world as a dental assistant in an Endodontic practice and continued to work and gain knowledge in various areas of dentistry such as Periodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatric dentistry. So it is easy to understand that one of her passions is helping patients achieve oral health and confidence through understanding the oral and overall body connection. Patty was born in Peru and grew up in New Jersey but has called Athens, GA home since 2007 alongside her mom.
Her other main interest is doing volunteer work with the deaf community as well as going to the movies, enjoying music and dancing and also taking her 4 legged “kid” Jack to the park.
Certified Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico in Medical Science and attained her degree in Dental Assisting. She has been in the dental field working as an assistant for eleven years.
She started her career as a dental assistant in Puerto Rico in 2000 and she came to Georgia in 2001 with her husband and started a family. They have three children, 2 boys and 1 girl, who occupies their time after work. Carmen is a very warm-hearted and caring person. We are happy to have her in our practice.
Kristen had been working in the dental field for about 19 years. After high school, she attended Piedmont College for about a year before transferring to Athens Tech. Kristen already has an Orthodontic assisting degree.
She is married to a great man. She has two wonderful boys whom she enjoys spending time with them during her spare time.
RDH, Dental Hygienist
Amy was born in Texas and grew up next door in Winder Ga. After deciding on a change after a long career in restaurants and the hospitality industry, Amy graduated in 2019 from Athens Technical College as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
She enjoys getting to know her patients and educating them about the importance of home care in their oral health.
On her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her friends and family and cuddling with her “fur baby” Reggie.
